Each of our three churches meets every Sunday, and we’d love to welcome you. To find out more about what to expect, you can click here. All our church buildings have parking nearby (Lawford and Mistley have carparks, and Bradfield has good local on-street parking). Each building also has disabled access, toilets, and changing facilities.
Lawford Church meets on Sundays at 11am. If you come early you can normally enjoy croissants and coffee before the service begins. We have a children’s group every week, so bring the kids! Music is normally led by a guitar or the band, and the words are all on a screen. Refreshments are served after the service, too, and people normally hang on to chat for a while. Lawford is a great community to join if you’re looking for a relaxed and informal church. Find us using the postcode CO11 2JX.
Mistley meets on Sundays at 10.15am. We’re a friendly bunch, and every week we enjoy refreshments together after the service. The service itself is usually fairly traditional, with music played on the organ and often with a choir. Some weeks we explore other forms of worship, with a monthly ‘Celtic-style’ service, for example. The beautiful Victorian building has a combination of original pews and comfy modern seats at the front. Mistley is a great community to join if you’re looking for something a bit more traditional. You can find us using the postcode CO11 1ER, which is the same postcode as the Mistley Church Hall, which is just down the road and often hosts mid-week events.
Bradfield meets each Sunday at 9.30am, with refreshments in the church hall after the service. We are a village church with a lovely atmosphere. Our gatherings are quite traditional but relaxed, with music on the organ and robes normally worn. We sometimes have a robed choir, too. The peaceful building is small and intimate. Bradfield is a great community to join if you want something traditional, or if you live in the village. Find us using the postcode CO11 2US.
