We hope and pray that we show that in the work that we do throughout the community.<\/p><h3>Local Community<\/h3><p><strong>Mistley Church Hall<\/strong>: Mistley has a separate Church Hall, which can be hired for community use as well as use for the churches. It\u2019s a grade 2 listed building, originally built in 1911, and is owned and managed by Mistley Church Council. As it is centrally situated in the village it offers great potential with historical and architectural character and is used by community and church groups. If you\u2019d like to find out more about hiring the Church Hall, please email <a href=\"mailto:mistleychurchhall@gmail.com\">mistleychurchhall@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p><p><strong>The Hub <\/strong>is a joint church venture, providing a community space on Manningtree High Street. It is currently mainly used for <strong>Fridays@TheHub <\/strong>which offers<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>a chance to meet up and not just talk to each other, but\u00a0listen. 10.00am-12.30pm, every Friday at The Hub in Manningtree High Street. This also includes the Credit Union.<\/p><p><strong>Manningtree &amp; District Food Bank: <\/strong>our churches were involved in the setting up of the Food Bank, and we\u2019re still supporting it today. This is a vital resource for our communities, and if you\u2019d be interested in using the Food Bank or helping out at it, please see www.manningtreefoodbank.co.uk.<\/p><p><strong>Acorn Village <\/strong>is a charity and residential centre in Mistley for adults with learning disabilities, and we\u2019re privileged to have several members of Acorn in our church family. You can find out more about the wonderful work of Acorn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acornvillages.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p><p><strong>Mistley Manor <\/strong>is a residential care home in Mistley, specialising in dementia care. The church takes services at Mistley Manor once a month wherever possible, and residents are regularly able to attend Sunday services. You can find out more about Mistley Manor <a href=\"https:\/\/mistleymanor.com\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p><p><strong>Parish Councils: <\/strong>our Parish and Town Councils work hard to look after our local area.
