We’ve got loads going on this Autumn, including a dog show, valuation morning, Harvest, concerts, quizzes and more! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dog Show<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Dog Show is back this year, on Saturday 27 September, 10.30am-3.30pm at Lawford Church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be 11 classes, including Best in Show – entry costs \u00a32 per dog per class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, there’ll be activities, stalls, games, refreshments and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All funds raised will go to the Church Restoration Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valuation Morning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There’s going to be an Antiques and Collectables Valuation morning at Bradfield Church on Saturday 27 September, 10am-12pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It costs just \u00a33 per item, and they don’t have to be obviously valuable – just things that you treasure! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doors will open at 9.30am for queuing and there’ll also be refreshments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harvest at Cross Reach Churches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We’ve got lots of different Harvest services this year, so there’s hopefully something for everyone! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’ll be a traditional-style Harvest Service and Supper on Friday 3 October, 6.30pm at Bradfield Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll then continue the Harvest celebrations on Sunday 5 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve got a traditional-style Harvest Service of Holy Communion, 10.15am at Mistley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we’ve got an All-Age Harvest Service, 11am at Lawford, with optional activities to engage with the hearts and minds and hands of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll also be collecting food donations for the Manningtree Food Bank at all of our services. Donations need to new, unopened, and in date!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Graham Long in Concert<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our friend Graham will be holding a concert at Bradfield Church on Saturday 11 October at 4pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graham will be singing hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, and much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will also be refreshments to share together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry is free, but any donations towards the work of the church will be gratefully received.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Bradfield Friends Quiz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Bradfield Friends are holding a Quiz Night with a Ploughman’s Supper at the Bradfield Village Hall, 7pm for a 7.30pm start on Friday 17 October<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s for teams of up to 6, and costs \u00a310 per head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Messy Church<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Messy Church is coming up in half term on Wednesday 29 October, 10am-12pm at Mistley Church Hall. There’ll be loads of activities, games, a time of story and song, and refreshments together! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It costs \u00a32 per child or \u00a35 per family. Children must be accompanied by an adult, but adults come free!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Light a Candle Community ‘All Souls’ Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And as we head into November, there will be a chance to gather together to remember those we love who are no longer with us. It’s our Light a Candle service, held with our friends at Paskells<\/em>, which includes the opportunity to have names read aloud and light a candle in memory of a loved one. It’s on Saturday 1 November at 11am at Mistley Church, and everyone is welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
