We are here:
- to worship God together.
- to be built up in our Christian faith, to encourage each other in our walk with God, and to witness to God’s love, forgiveness and care.
- to create a Christian community, reaching out with the love of God to include as many residents of Lawford, Manningtree, Mistley and Bradfield as possible.
- to be a blessing and a light to our local communities.

Why ‘Cross Reach’?
Our northern parish boundaries follow the course of the River Stour. Near the eastern end of Mistley lies a stretch of the river called ‘Cross Reach’. Running from the quay, out into the estuary, people pass through Cross Reach every day, going out on their adventures, and coming back home. We named our Church Group after this stretch of the river, to remember that we should be reaching out with the love of Jesus – the same love that reached out to us. We named it to remember that we are all on a journey. And we named it to remember that the Lord will watch over our coming and going, both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121:8)
