You are invited to join us this Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and all the joy that this wonderful event brings.
There’s a lot going on in the three churches, so there are plenty of lovely events for you to choose from. You’re welcome at any or all of them, as well as being invited to our regular Sunday services in each church (find out more about these services here).
Family Carol Service
An informal service of Christmas readings and carols, led by the band.
Monday 23rd December, 4pm at Lawford.
Traditional Carol Services
Readings and carols in a traditional setting, led by the choir.
Sunday 15th December, 6pm at Mistley.
Monday 16th December, 7pm at Bradfield.
Sunday 22nd December, 6pm at Lawford.
Travelling Nativity
Listen to the Christmas story, travel together from the hall at the bottom of the hill to the church at the top, and meet the people from the Nativity story. The event ends with refreshments in the church. Please bring a torch and clothing suitable for the weather!
Saturday 21st December, 4pm starting at Mistley Church Hall.
Join-in Nativity Service
A repeat of last year’s hugely popular event, where we’ll make our own costumes and join in with the Christmas story together!

Christmas Eve
Family Nativity Service, for all ages: 4pm at Bradfield.
‘Bethlehem’ midnight service, to coincide with midnight in the place where Jesus was born: 9pm at Mistley.
Midnight Christmas Communion, 11.30pm at Bradfield.
Christmas Day
Traditional communion service: 10am at Mistley.
Informal family Christmas service: 10am at Lawford.
