We’ve got loads going on this Autumn, including a dog show, valuation morning, Harvest, concerts, quizzes and more!
Dog Show
The Dog Show is back this year, on Saturday 27 September, 10.30am-3.30pm at Lawford Church.
There will be 11 classes, including Best in Show – entry costs £2 per dog per class.
Also, there’ll be activities, stalls, games, refreshments and more!
All funds raised will go to the Church Restoration Fund.

Valuation Morning
There’s going to be an Antiques and Collectables Valuation morning at Bradfield Church on Saturday 27 September, 10am-12pm.
It costs just £3 per item, and they don’t have to be obviously valuable – just things that you treasure!
Doors will open at 9.30am for queuing and there’ll also be refreshments.

Harvest at Cross Reach Churches
We’ve got lots of different Harvest services this year, so there’s hopefully something for everyone!
There’ll be a traditional-style Harvest Service and Supper on Friday 3 October, 6.30pm at Bradfield Church.
We’ll then continue the Harvest celebrations on Sunday 5 October.
We’ve got a traditional-style Harvest Service of Holy Communion, 10.15am at Mistley.
And we’ve got an All-Age Harvest Service, 11am at Lawford, with optional activities to engage with the hearts and minds and hands of all ages.
We’ll also be collecting food donations for the Manningtree Food Bank at all of our services. Donations need to new, unopened, and in date!
Graham Long in Concert
Our friend Graham will be holding a concert at Bradfield Church on Saturday 11 October at 4pm.
Graham will be singing hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, and much more!
There will also be refreshments to share together.
Entry is free, but any donations towards the work of the church will be gratefully received.
Bradfield Friends Quiz
The Bradfield Friends are holding a Quiz Night with a Ploughman’s Supper at the Bradfield Village Hall, 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
It’s for teams of up to 6, and costs £10 per head.
